Application scenarios can be categorized into three main categories based on the type of hazardous material. The following are specific scenarios and corresponding requirements:
1. Explosive gas/steam atmosphere
Typical Scenarios:
Petrochemical Industry: Refineries, chemical plant production workshops, reactor areas, and oil pipelines.
Gas-Related Industry: Natural gas filling stations, liquefied petroleum gas storage tank farms, and city gas pressure regulating stations.
Other Industries: Paint spraying workshops (solvent vapors), and solvent extraction workshops in pharmaceutical factories.
2. Explosive dust atmosphere
Typical scenarios:
Food processing: Flour mill grinding rooms, starch mill drying areas, and feed processing plant mixing rooms.
Metal processing: Aluminum/magnesium powder production workshops and metal polishing workshops (metal dust).
Other areas: Plastic pelletizing plants (plastic dust), pulverized coal silos (coal mines or power plants), and wood processing workshops (wood dust).
3. Special hazardous environments (including corrosion, vibration, etc.)
Mining: Coal mine working faces and underground tunnels in metal mines (with risks of dust, gas, and vibration).
Marine: Offshore oil drilling platforms and tanker decks and holds (with risks of gas and salt spray corrosion).
Tunnels/Underground Engineering: Tunnels and underground pipeline galleries used to transport flammable and explosive materials (such as liquefied natural gas) (with risks of moisture and darkness).
